Corona virus: Emmanuel Macron’s speech this Monday, as we know it

Some action may be announced following the Health Care Board meeting on Monday morning.

eEmmanuel Macron will address the French at 8:00 pm on Monday, Elysee announced on Friday, while the outcome of the crisis threatens to worsen the health situation due to the improvement of the delta variant.

The speech, which is scheduled for several days, will take place two and a half months after the head of state’s interview with regional dailies on April 29, in which he described the schedule for the redefinition.

Elysee did not elaborate on the content of the intervention, but pointed out that Emmanuel Macron’s entourage had intended to set up a curriculum on reforms such as pensions, especially for the last ten months since the recent end of Queenvennium.

However, this could explain the measures to be taken specifically regarding the vaccination duty and health pass extension for caregivers, which will be held at the Elysee Palace on Monday morning by the Govt-19 Security Council.

Measures can be taken to restrict travel with countries where the situation is deteriorating, such as Spain or Portugal, and to reduce the scales for events subject to the health pass, as recommended by the Science Council.

The head of state will “take health data into account,” government spokesman Gabriel Attal said Wednesday.

In its final stages, Public Health France noted that “the situation worsened, after several weeks of improving indicators” (Thursday evening, there were 4,442 new contaminants, more than 70% per week) and a “marked increase” in the incidence rate, especially among 15/44 year olds.
