Several fires are raging in the Krasnoyarsk region (eastern Siberia), affecting about two hundred buildings and killing at least five people, local officials said Saturday, declaring a state of emergency.
“The fire spread to areas inhabited by more than 16 people, burning about 200 buildings, several sawmills, a kindergarten, and there are already dead.“The Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region said in a telegram.
So far, five people have died.
