Police in riot gear stormed a rally in Rotterdam (southwest) on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.

“The protest that started at 8:00 pm this evening in Cooling caused riots. The fire spread to several places. Firecrackers exploded and police fired several warning shots, ”Rotterdam police said in a statement.

“There are injuries in the shooting,” he said.
