Getting upset by the New York Jets might not be the worst thing he’s ever faced buffalo bills Immediately.
quarterback Josh Allen He was injured in the final round of the second half as Gates’ defense Press Huff hit him on the forearm during a throw, causing confusion that Bills would recover. In the next play, Allen immediately shook his arm after attempting a pass.
Now it is being evaluated for what appears to be an injury to the UCL with associated nerve damage, according to ESPN. Head coach Sean McDermott said the team hopes to get better information on Allen on Tuesday.
His status in Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings is unknown.
As ESPN added, there is a wide range of outcomes that can occur from this type of infection and only test results will tell us the full picture.
Allen might not have found himself in that position if he had played better, which he said he needed to do for his team after the 20-17 loss at MetLife on Sunday.
“It’s hard to win this league when you play with a good team and your quarterback plays like an s—,” Allen said candidly during the post-match press. “I made some bad decisions tonight, and it really cost our team. [There’s] So much to learn from, and so much to evolve from. But this is not the standard to which we adhere. This is not the ball we play.”
He continued, “I have to do better. That’s on me.”
Allen has gone 18 from 34 for 205 yards as the Bills have fallen to 0-2 in division games so far this season (they have previously lost to Miami Dolphin On the road).
But while Allen wanted to take all the blame for the loss, his teammates wouldn’t let him.
“I’d do anything for Josh. I’d kill for Josh. I’d give my last finger to harass Josh,” Dionne Dawkins said in response to the attack. “Whatever it is. And a quarterback is like that, he’s going to put every loss on his back when he doesn’t have to. … You know, Josh is the best quarterback in the league, and he’s still out there saying what he says. He loves us and we love him.”
Stefon Diggs He added, “Good things will happen, bad things will happen. We’ve seen Josh put in a lot of plays. He made a lot of plays today. There’s absolutely nothing on him. Offensively, we work as one. Transformations will happen. Our midfielder is the best player in the league.”
The Bills really feel that Allen is the best signal caller in the game, which is why his loss would be massive for Buffalo. They still lead East Asia with a 6-2 draw this season, but Jets (6-3) and Dolphins (6-3) are tailing their tail.
The bills contain the very powerful Case Keenum that supports Allen. Keenum hasn’t started a game since the 2021 season when he was with the Cleveland Browns, winning Week 7 against the Denver Broncos and Week 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
