“Cool area with heavy rain”: Here’s the weather forecast for the next few days

LThis mild start to the year will be followed by showers on Sunday afternoon and Monday. According to the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM), 15°C had already passed early on Sunday morning, a record for a January 1st.

During the night hours from Sunday to Monday, the sky will be very cloudy, especially north of the Chambray and Meuse valleys. MRI thus evokes “coolness sometimes accompanied by heavy rain”. The minimum temperature fluctuates between 8 and 12 degrees Celsius.

A rainy start to the week on Monday. In the afternoon, the disturbance will move towards Germany, with some clearing alternating with showers in the rear. The maximum, fluctuating between 9 to 12 degrees Celsius, will be reached in the morning. In the afternoon, temperatures will drop to around 10 degrees Celsius in the centre. Winds will be light to moderate from west to southwest direction.

Tuesday’s weather will be dry and bright with a bit more freshness. Maximum temperatures are 5°C in the Hautes-Fagnes and 8 or 9°C in the plains. South-southwest winds are moderate inland and very strong along the coast.
