The pilots of FR4052 from Manchester had to put down their emergency equipment due to a fire on the ship, with Pharaoh as the final target.
So the Ryanair plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Brest, where firefighters were ready to intervene in Dormak. Police evacuated the passengers on the bus and took them to the terminal.
A descent in seven minutes
The plane was scheduled to land at 9:30 pm in Faroe Islands, but had to make an emergency landing between 7:14 pm and 7:21 pm when the fire broke out. It went from 41,000 feet to 6,725 feet in seven minutes.
At the time of writing, no information is available on the health of the passengers and whether they will be able to depart again, but many of them are in shock. In connection with the isolated rules in force in France, it remains to be seen what will happen to these travelers.
