Some industries or activities require a vaccination pass in developing countries, but the mandatory anti-Govt vaccine for all is the exception.
Here is a complete overview of the different types of compulsory vaccines introduced worldwide to combat the infection.
Rare public duties
In Europe, Austria was the first EU country to enact legislation to make the Govt vaccine compulsory for all adults. This obligation will take effect on February 4. If vaccinated within two weeks, the offender faces a hefty fine.
In Germany, a compulsory vaccination program, defended by the new Social Democrat President Olaf Scholes, was discussed at the Bundestock on January 26th.
In Ecuador, last December, it was declared mandatory to vaccinate everyone, including children over the age of five, making it the first in the world.
Earlier, two dictatorial states in Central Asia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, announced compulsory vaccination for those over 18 in July 2021.
In Indonesia, in theory, the anti-Govt vaccine has been mandatory since February 2021. In fact, less than half of the population will be vaccinated by the beginning of 2022.
In the Pacific, the Federal State of Micronesia also announced a mandatory vaccination for people over 18 in July 2021.
For the elderly in some countries
Instead of a common duty, two European countries vaccinate the elderly, a type of people who become seriously ill with goiter.
In Italy, a decree passed on January 5, 2022 makes vaccination compulsory for those over 50 years of age from February 15.
In Greece, the anti-Govt vaccine will be mandatory for those over 60 starting 2022. A similar device in the Czech Republic was abandoned by the new government in January.
Widespread obligation to certain professions
Vaccine duties for certain professional types have increased worldwide since mid-2021.
In France, the vaccination duty will apply to employees, firefighters, paramedics and domestic helpers in hospitals and retirement homes from September 15.
In Italy, health workers have been forced to be vaccinated by nursing home staff since October 10, even after the end of May. School staff and law enforcement officials also need a vaccination certificate.
In Greece, vaccination was made compulsory on August 16 for nursing home staff and on September 1 for caregivers.
In the UK, workers working in nursing homes should be fully vaccinated from mid-November. This also applies to caregivers from April 2022.
In Germany, medical staff must provide proof of full vaccination by March 15.
In some countries, vaccination duty is not limited to caregivers. In Hungary this is where companies will have to vaccinate employees from the end of October.
In Panama, President Laurentino Cortizo on January 5 ordered the vaccination duty on all civil servants. Tito, a public service employee in Rwanda, must resign from the beginning of the year, otherwise.
In the United States, President Joe Biden announced on September 9 the mandatory vaccination of 100 million workers, civil servants or private employees. But the move, which was suspended in November by a federal judge, was firmly blocked by the Supreme Court on January 13.
Vaccine pass takes place
In increasing countries, a vaccination certificate or vaccination pass is mandatory for certain destinations, activities, or travel.
In Saudi Arabia, “any private or government place” must be vaccinated from August 1, 2021, to access public transport and leave the country.
Vaccine passes are required to access closed locations (hotels, restaurants, cafes, shops, stadiums), administrations and leave the country in Morocco from October.
The same move to access administrations, schools, cafes, banks, etc. in Tunisia from December.
Tito in Kenya from the end of December to access public services, public transport, public places.
In Italy, a vaccination pass is required from January to access transportation, hotels, restaurant terraces, exhibitions and congresses and swimming pools and gyms.
In France, from January 24, the vaccination pass will be mandatory for access to theaters, bars, restaurants and regional transport.
Some countries, such as New Zealand or Australia, enjoyed world tennis number one Novak Djokovic entering their soil for vaccinated travelers, arriving at the Australian Open and being deported for lack of vaccination.
The United States vaccines foreign travelers: those arriving by air from November, and by land and sea from January. Similarly, the Philippines will reopen borders to vaccinated tourists only on February 10th.
