With the birth of Lilliput, Harry and Megan break with tradition again

Harry and Megan announced on Sunday morning that the Duchess of Sussex had given birth to a 3.5kg Lilliput on Friday morning and that “everyone is fine”. As many British media outlets explain, it is traditional for the birth of a member of the royal family to be announced soon. For the births of William’s wife, Kate Middleton, Buckingham Palace issued a proclamation each time the delivery began and then the baby was officially born.
