Climate change
24 The Heures regional newspaper noted that a teacher, a head doctor and his son, from Zurich, were on board. At that time their bodies were found, but no wreckage.
“At the time of the crash, fifty years ago, the technical means of recovering aircraft wreckage in difficult terrain were limited.“, adds the police.
As 24 Hours reports, a high-altitude mountain guide discovered the ruins during a trip to the area. Due to climate change and melting glaciers, the route has changed and now passes where the wreckage was found.
